A Note
I wanted to make A-Gloei for people who aren’t familiar with the amazing benefits of retinol. Retinol is highly effective at increasing cell turnover and targeting the signs of aging while reducing inflammation and acne. And since virgin marula oil is so good at moisturizing and soothing the skin, it’s the perfect delivery vehicle. I wanted to sneak retinol in the line at a lower level to make it ideal for anyone who is just getting used to retinol and wants to build a tolerance. Try it a few times and you’ll see how effective but gentle it is. I know I will make a retinol believer out of you, too.

0.5% Retinol
Retinol is one of the most well-researched ingredients in skincare, capable of bringing balance to any skin concern. At a gentle 0.5% concentration, our vegan retinol can help improve the look and feel of uneven skin tone and texture, as well as ward off the damage done by daily exposure to UV rays, pollution, or other free radicals.
Virgin Marula Oil
This super-absorbable oil, high in critical antioxidants and omegas 6 and 9, helps moisturize, nourish, and rejuvenate skin for a youthful glow.
Ceramides
These plant-derived ceramides are identical to the wax-like moisturizing ceramides that occur naturally in skin. Ceramides help fill in the spaces between skin cells, giving them elasticity, and play a critical role in strengthening the skin barrier by helping to maintain the moisture balance of skin while protecting against water loss.
