What it does

Centella asiatica extract and ashwagandha root reduce the appearance of redness and calm stressed skin, and powerful antioxidants—astaxanthin, green tea leaf, and goji berry—defend against environmental free radical damage.

Sili™ Whipped Body Lotion has a skin-supportive pH of 5.2.

Ingredients

Chia Seed Oil: Soothing, moisturizing plant oil that is naturally rich in omega fatty acids, antioxidant carotenoids, and phenolic compounds.

Centella Asiatica Extract: AKA gotu kola. This herb contains multiple forms of anti-inflammatory terpenoid compounds, giving Centella asiatica its skin-strengthening and healing properties.

Ashwagandha Root: Herb containing antioxidant alkaloid and anti-inflammatory compounds known as withanolides. Together, these make ashwagandha root a powerful ingredient that helps defend skin against free radical damage while reducing inflammation.

Squalane: Derived from olives, squalane is a natural moisturizing factor, which means it works exactly the same as the form of squalane that is found naturally in skin. Squalane acts as both a moisturizing agent and a natural antioxidant that soothes and prevents water loss from the surface of the skin without leaving behind a greasy feel.

Green Tea Seed Oil: Moisturizing, fatty-acid-rich oil derived from the seeds of the green tea plant. Like all forms of green tea, it contains powerful antioxidant xanthines (like caffeine) and polyphenols (such as epigallocatechin gallate, epigallocatechin, and epicatechins) that play a critical role in defending skin against environmental—particularly UV-generated—free radical damage.

Flax Seed Oil: Naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids, flax seed oil is both soothing and moisturizing to skin.

Virgin Marula Oil: This super-absorbable oil, high in critical antioxidants and omegas 6 and 9, helps moisturize, nourish, and rejuvenate skin for a youthful glow.

Acai Fruit Oil: Derived from the pulp of the acai plant. Rich in antioxidant polyphenols, acai oil is used for its soothing and moisturizing properties.

Sodium PCA: A powerful electrolyte with potent antioxidant benefits, plant-derived sodium PCA is identical to the form naturally present in skin and plays a vital role in helping maintain hydration levels in skin, improving barrier strength and lipid content, calming redness, and protecting against environmental dehydration.

Astaxanthin: Derived from seaweed, astaxanthin provides powerful antioxidant benefits, particularly against UV-generated free radicals.

3-Ceramide Blend: Plant-derived ceramides AP, NP, and EOP are identical to the wax-like moisturizing ceramides that occur naturally in skin. Ceramides help fill in the spaces between skin cells, giving them elasticity, and play a critical role in strengthening the skin barrier by helping to maintain the moisture balance of skin while protecting against water loss.

Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract: Derived from the seeds of the vanilla plant. Vanilla fruit is used for its powerful concentration of free-radical-fighting polyphenols as well as its soothing benefits. The seeds of the vanilla plant have a mild, naturally sweet scent.
